Luna Migueles is a Spanish visual artist specializing in figurative painting. Through her depictions of the human body, she explores fragmentation to reveal presence, absence, and transformation. Rooted in oil and acrylic painting, her practice also incorporates image transfer, textiles, and embroidery, opening her work toward multidisciplinary possibilities.

Migueles studied Fine Arts at the Polytechnic University of Valencia and expanded her artistic perspective during an exchange at HFBK Dresden in Germany. Her work reflects both her cross-cultural experiences and her interest in art as a space for dialogue and exploration.

In 2024, Migueles began her Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art at the University of Idaho, supported by a Teaching Assistantship. Alongside her academic path, she contributes to the university community through teaching, where her approach emphasizes adaptability, self-efficacy, and creative confidence. This experience connects her studio practice with her pedagogical philosophy, which draws from constructivism and discovery-based learning.

Currently, Migueles is expanding her research through projects that merge new material. Her work seeks to create spaces of reflection where body, material, and process intersect, while her academic path continues to strengthen the bond between artistic creation and education.
